Good morning everyone! I can't believe that the year will be over tonight! This is crazy! 2011 just seems like a huge blur to me. Eric says it is because I was pregnant for most of it! HAHA! Well I do have to say that we have so much to be thankful for! Of course for our wonderful baby boy, Liam! We couldn't have asked for a better child, whom rarely cries or whines and is ALWAYS smiling! Every where we go we always get the comment, "He is the best baby I have ever seen!" That of course makes a momma proud! I am thankful for my little family...which I am hoping in the future will be expanding! I am thankful that both Eric and I have good jobs that do what they are supposed to do, pay the bills and provide for the family. We are thankful for our families, that go above and beyond for us, watch Liam, and shower him with love and gifts! I pray that 2012 can be just as great or even greater!
May everyone have a safe and FUN last day of 2011! And my God bless 2012 for all of us! Happy New Year my blogger friends may new and exciting things come your way!

It's almost 2012
Well Christmas was amazing! We had so much fun experiencing Liam's first Christmas! We just want to thank everyone for all of the awesome gifts that Liam received! We are so blessed! There are so many things to look forward to in 2012! I will leave you with some pictures of our Christmas, and I will be blogging again tomorrow for the last time this year!!! YAY!

It's Sunday again!
Well here we are again...Hello Sunday! I have to say that this Sunday seems to be going a bit better! First of all it is really pretty outside and second Liam is in a great mood! Let me start by showing you the pictures I promised of Liam trying out peas for the first time...
Alright...he is unsuspecting
Umm...Not sure about this mommy
What is this crazy stuff?
Enter gag reflux...So I guess we can all assume he hated it!
What an experience it was trying out peas! I did however try it again the next day, he still hated it but it wasn't quite as dramatic as the first time.
I took some pictures of Liam this morning for what I was hoping would be a successful 6 months shoot, but I was too pleased with the outcome and feel that I can do a little better. Plus, Brody wasn't listening too well to me: Here is a picture to prove it!
Brody has been extra needy and jealous lately. I try to give him extra snuggle time, but that is still not working! I don't really know what to do. Maybe he is just going through a little phase, or he is coming to the realization that this kid isn't going anywhere! HAHA!
Well as usual there is a lot to do today and Liam is now starting to get fussy...time for a nap I presume! Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! I will be blogging again soon!

What a week it has been!
Yay Liam is officially 6 months old! We went to the doctor yesterday and received the green light to go ahead with all veggies and fruits. So with that said we decided to try out some peas last night! Now keep in mind he is already in love with sweet potatoes, so I guess we were feeling optimistic that he would just love anything that we put in front of him. Well, the peas did not go so well! I will definitely be posting some pictures of our veggie failure! He hated them...and when I say hated I mean gag reflux and all!!!!
He is still in the 50th percentile weighing in at 17 lbs 9 oz and 26 1/2 inches tall! We've been told to start our baby proofing because he will be on the move soon! AHHHH! I am not sure that I am ready to be chasing a curious little boy around, but I guess that I don't have a choice now do I?
Our Christmas present was delivered yesterday and we just can not get enough of it! Haha, the suspense right! Well I will have to get it all pretty before I take some pictures to post!
HMMM....what else, what else? This week has been somewhat crazy with the delivery of the gift, Liam turning 6 months, his doctors appointment where he received 5 shots which included his flu shot, and then the thought of baby proofing an apartment that is still staged for college students! We have our hands full!! Not to mention of course work is in there somewhere and Eric has been studying and taking finals! I am so proud of him! He will hopefully be graduated this time next year depending on summer classes. Everyone cross their fingers that he gets the classes that he needs over the summer! It would be so disappointing for him if he were one class shy of graduating in the fall because they didn't offer the class in the summer!
Alright, well I have laundry to fold and bottles to clean all before work tonight so I better get off of this computer! I will leave you with some entertaining photos of our little monkey enjoying his dinner of sweet potatoes!

Sunday's
I guess I have the Sunday blues....I don't particularly like Sunday's and I don't know why. I guess it is because it can either be the end of a week or the beginning of a new one, the day is a little confusing. I don't know whether to wrap up my week or to start preparing for a new one...lol...any who, I am feeling a little under the weather today. I am sure it is because of the change in the weather; I caught a cold not that big of a deal, except I really don't want to get Liam sick. I mean I have made it this far, almost 6 months, without a single runny nose on the little man, so I don't want to start now.
I guess if this were the beginning of the week I would start by saying: This week marks 6 months since my little monkey arrived!!!! Also, the Christmas present that Eric and I decided on will be here Thursday! (I am really excited about it and you can bet I will be posting pictures) There are only 21 days left until Christmas and I am feeling super stressed about gifts this year! I apologize in advance to our family if they do not like or didn't expect homemade gifts but that is about all we can manage this year lol...sorry! Christmas is about spending time with the ones you love and celebrating the birth of Christ, so I am trying to focus on that instead of feeling guilty for not being able to buy people gifts this year.
If this were considered the end of the week I would say: Wow, that felt like it went by fast! Came back into town, went to work, and then the week was over! I will say that watching Liam roll over for the first time was amazing! And then last night, for a second or two, Liam got up on his knees!!! Yeah, we know, we are in trouble if he starts crawling this early haha! Hopefully he was just doing it to scare us!!
Well, I am off to get some rest in hopes I feel a little better so maybe this week will be great!

Welcome December!
It is already December! Where has the year gone? Liam will be 6 months in just a few days...cannot believe it...so you know that I will be posting those pictures soon! We fed him sweet potatoes for the first time last night and he seemed to really enjoy them!
I ordered my Christmas cards this morning and I can't wait to see them and mail them out! Here is the picture we chose to use:
We are really happy with the Christmas pictures we took of Liam! He is so photogenic!
There is not too much going on right now...I have just been on a cleaning and organizing spree lately, which I guess isn't bad, but I feel like it will never end. Everywhere I turn there is something else to clean. I feel like it wouldn't be so bad if I weren't working so much, but it is what it is!
Eric just made a batch of Liam's laundry detergent with a johnson's baby lotion soap bar...I am really curious how it will turn out and how wonderful Liam's clothes will smell, not to mention how much money we will be saving! We already make our own laundry detergent, I just didn't think it would be possible to make some for a baby! Thank goodness Eric thought of a baby soap bar! Now to start experimenting with our own fabric softener!
So I was pinteresting the other day and came across this great idea about crock pot meals. What you do is you get all of the ingredients together and vacuum seal them all together with the instructions written on the front and then pop it in the freezer! If you do that for a week of meals or even a month and just pull it out and stick it in the crock pot when needed, how easy would life feel? That would be one less thing I would have to stress about! I am seriously considering trying this out! I will let you know how it works out.
Alright, back to cleaning and organizing I go....I will leave you with a family photo from our trip for Thanksgiving!

Liam Update
It has been a month since I last blogged so I thought that I would give you all a little Liam update! He is now eating cereal 1-2 times a day and in about a week we are going to start some veggies!!! I cannot believe that my little monkey will be 6 months in two weeks! (Crazy)...He has to be weighing in around 18lbs, but we won't know for sure until his Dr's appointment which I am scheduling soon! He just mastered the rolling from his back to his tummy TODAY!! and also put his foot in his mouth. I know that these all seem like miniscule events but as I am sure other mommies might agree they seem like HUGE milestones!!! Liam is a little man of many expressions, but his favorite one is of course his big gummy smile; which I cannot get enough of!
We just got back from visiting my side of the family for Thanksgiving, and I was so impressed on how he handled himself. Not only did he sleep most of the 8 hour drive but he was on his best behavior!! All three of us had such a wonderful time...We have SO much to be thankful for! Big plans for tomorrow: Little man will be helping us set up our Christmas tree!!
Here is another photo from Halloween that I thought you might enjoy!!

Pumpkin Carving
Here are our pumpkins....Unfortunately only Eric's will be around for Halloween :( Oh well! We had a great time carving them!!
October is coming to an end
Here we are in the last days of October...it is crazy how fast this year has flown by. We are getting ready for the upcoming holidays...my favorite holidays!! I am experimenting with different ornament ideas and already trying to decide on which holiday card to send out. I am so excited to be able to see all of my family for Thanksgiving and I can't wait for them to meet Liam for the first time!
Speaking of Liam, he is getting sooooooo big! His 4 month check up was two weeks ago and he was already weighing in at 15.1 lbs! We starting giving him rice cereal in the evenings followed by a bottle, but he is still going 4 hrs between feedings with the exception of through the night. I thought that once I started with the cereal he would last longer... I guess I am going to have to up the amount of cereal!
Well I guess that is all I have at the moment...sorry it has been awhile I have been working A LOT!!

Wow, been a long time!
Sorry it has been so long...geez...I really didn't know it had almost been a month! So I just posted a saved "post" from September 12 and as I was reading it I was thinking to myself "wow so much has happened since!" Liam uses his bumbo seat everyday, mostly in the bath tub, but he loves it! He is also utilizing his bounce bounce and can plant his feet firmly on the base! Yay! He has a doctor's appointment next week and I am hoping to find out if we will be able to start him on cereal and possible begin introducing him to some solids with in the next month!
I can't believe that he will be four months on Saturday! Oh how time flies! As most of you know I am back at work, and besides the fact that I have to leave Liam with someone, I am totally enjoying it! It is nice to be able to say I love my job and where I am in my life!
Well, I am pretty tired from a long day at work so I am going to sign off for now! But don't you worry I will be posting pictures soon!!!!!!

Just found this post...
Apparently I started to post something on September 12 but must have gotten distracted and saved it but never published it so here it is...(haha) sorry!
So Liam just hit the 3 month mark, which brings about some new changes! At this very moment I am sterilizing his 3 month pacifiers (!) including his Boston Red Sox one that Eric's parents gave him! Yesterday he had a fever and we are not sure why, he is drooling alot and always wants something in his mouth so I am hoping it is teething instead of a cold, but we will see! I don't really want to begin the process of teething, but I would rather have Liam go through that than a cold at this age!
He has been able to hold his head up since 3 days but lately he is beginning to be more stable about it, which is great. Hopefully soon we will be able to use his bumbo and he will enjoy his bounce bounce a little more. I think it is almost time to put away the portable bath :(.... but he is getting so long that he barely fits in it. So I will be off to Target to get some bath supplies to make the big boy bath tub not feel so evasive.
That's it for now... Hope everyone has an awesome Monday!!

Hello September
Wow the time is really going by quickly, it is already September and that is hard to believe. The temperature drop was insane today with a high of 64! Although it is a bit chilly outside, it was nice to put Liam in jeans and a little cardigan! He just looks so darn cute!
Well, it has been a busy week so far, but I am trying to remember to cherish the down time I get with little man! Eric is working hard with school and that is great! Good things are on their way we just have to be patient! Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
God Bless!

Thinking...
I am just sitting here waiting for Eric to get out of class thinking about everything that I need to get done. Liam is totally fighting sleep and that is no good! I will try giving him a bath and see where that leads. I am not sure if he is about to start teething or not because he for one is seriously drooling and two really is chomping hard on his little fingers and leaving a gum impression.
Tomorrow is Ga Tech's first football game of the season and as most of you know Brody has his own game day jersey which he will definitely be wearing, but Liam has a Ga Tech outfit complete with booties that he will be wearing!! Go Yellow Jackets!
Sometimes I wish that time would pass quicker but not for Liam. I don't want him to grow any faster, but waiting for certain things, like getting a new car and finally moving is just getting annoying! Hopefully I will have my new car soon, I pray, if things work out like I am hoping they will!
So Eric is back in school and I couldn't be prouder. He will be finished in a couple of semesters and that is one of the things that I wish would be here so he can get a great job and I can finally accomplish my dream of being a stay at home mom and he will have an awesome job that he loves. Ahhhh, we have so much to look forward to and it is very difficult to be patient!
Yep he is still sitting here fighting sleep! Alright I hope you all have a wonderful night and I will blog again real soon!

Whoa it's been awhile...
The first week of work was great minus the first day when I had my melt down. My new work family is amazing and I am loving every minute of being there! Little man is doing great! He is almost 3 months now...cannot believe it...and he focuses more when he looks at you and when he is making his talking sounds his expressions are so serious almost as if he is really having a conversation! I can't believe that it is about to be September; where did the summer go? Although I will not miss the heat and humidity I am not really looking forward to the dead cold of winter! So, by all means, fall please take your time!!! Well I have a lot to do today so I better get started!

I Survived
Well I survived my first day back at work, but not before sobbing my eyes out all morning and on the way to work! Once I got there and got back in the swing of things I was fine! I just want to say thank you to my loving husband for being there for me yesterday! He was so supportive! I really didn't think it would be that hard, mainly because I have left him before to run errands. I guess that just know that our time together is somehow shortened I got really emotional!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday; I just wanted to update you on how the first day back went...probably the typical first time mommy routine: Cry eyes out and pray the day goes fast! Although the day dragged on and on, I survived and that is all that matters!!

Good Morning!!
Good morning all! It feels wonderful outside! I am so glad this humidity is finally starting to go away! I only have a few more day alone with my little man...I am starting to get sad! Still so much to do so I will be busy yet again today! I also need to get back into my workout routine to get rid of this pregnancy weight. Man, it has been difficult to get rid of it.
Here is something I have been working on...
I have started a photo wall! I am really excited about this and I plan on it taking over my living room wall! Although it looks great now (small but great) I plan on changing it all around once I get my canvas of Liam, which will go smack in the middle because it is just awesome!
This is the canvas I am getting...
This amazing photo was taken by Brittani, Liam's godmother, whose father is a firefighter! We absolutely adore this photo and will cherish it forever!

And The Countdown Begins...
So I am freaking out because I only have one week left before I go back to work...I am totally dreading it! I don't want to be without my little man for one second, but life must continue! So we had a yard sale yesterday...it didn't go as well as we hoped. We had a steady flow of customers but they didn't really want alot. Besides getting completely fried from the sun, we had a great time!
With only a week left I am starting to freak out since my to-do list is still not complete. There is just not enough time in the day! So my plan for today is to get some errands run, clean the kitchen top to bottom, clean the bathroom top to bottom, wash Brody, finish Liam's laundry, order a cake for next weekend, and pick up Liam's Christening outfit. That's right, Liam is getting baptized next weekend! We are very excited! So there is a lot to get accomplished before the big day!
I better get a start on my list for the day! I hope everyone has a great Sunday and I will blog again soon!
