He is ready for Fall!!

It's Been Awhile I know!

So I have been MIA with this blog...we just recently switched our internet provider so we were with out internet for four or five days!! So October is here!!! YAY! Eric and I are going to the pumpkin patch tomorrow to pick out our pumpkins which I am going to make into pretty flower pots!! Super excited about being crafty. Of course we will also carve something insanely creative into one as well!! Purchased my pumpkin spice candles, pumpkin bread mix, and canned pumpkin yesterday...so bring on the chilled weather and fall like spirit cuz I am ready!! Oh we also got cable yesterday which we haven't had in about a year and a half. Needless to say we are watching tv like crazy. I am trying to control the urge to flip it on now, but I have plenty that needs to get done before work today!

So Eric and I are back and forth with the idea of finally moving to Florida!! I totally want to, and have always wanted to, but unfortunately for me, Eric has his concerns, which he most certainly may have. However, our lease is up in about 8 months so the decision needs to occur soon!! I will update you all on our weekly menu as soon I as get that going again; last Saturday I threw a bridal shower and put alot of time and energy into it and by the end of the night I was exhausted and also caught Eric's cold! Of course mine was 10 times worse as usual and I was in bed for about two days, so I am still playing catch up. We have basically been living on leftover lasagna from the shower all week. We did however try out a new recipe last night; Ranch Chicken!! was fantabulous!

Well I hope everyone has a freaking fabulous Friday and I will hopefully be back tomorrow with a yummy list of dinners for this week, and also to post some pictures of our pumpkin patch adventure!!

First day of Fall!

So today makes the first day of fall, and it is difficult to accept since it is extremely hot outside! I am sooooo ready for the cooler weather and hope it is right around the corner ( meaning this weekend ). Well I am half-way through the week and ready for it to be Friday so I will be forced to be productive with the shower on Saturday! There is still so much to do.

*By the way the Chicken and Asparagus Lasagna was fabulous!!!*

I received my final grade for the Sociology Course I was taking online and am happy to report that I got an A! Now if I could only get a full schedule of classes I would be done in no time...aka 3 quarters!!

Hey everyone, I hope you are having a great Monday! Last night I made the Penne and Ham Primavera recipe that I found, and the hubby and myself both agreed that it was delicious!! Right now I have my chicken and asparagus lasagna in the oven and it smells great and I will be sure to let you know if it is a keeper!

So apparently this is the last week of summer, and fall officially starts the 22nd of September with the Autumn Equinox! I can't wait for some cooler weather. It is hard to believe that fall is literally two days away and it is 94 degrees outside.

Sunday!!

I usually don't like Sundays, only because the week is about to start all over again. However I am trying to make the best of today by being productive! Laundry and cleaning are on top of the list; I have to get the apartment ready for the bridal shower I am throwing here next weekend. I have also finally come up with a weekly menu system that I am completely excited about. So for this week our dinner menu consists of:

Friday: Wild Rice and Beef Casserole ( which was really yummy )
Saturday: Went out to dinner for my dad's b-day! ( Fun Times )
Sunday: Penne and Ham Primavera
Monday: Golden-Crusted Chicken-Asparagus Lasagna
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Caramelized-Onion Pot Roast with Peas and Mashed Potatoes
Wednesday: Creamy Pesto-Chicken Casserole
Thursday: Baked Oregano Chicken with Pasta and Asparagus
Friday: Probably something on the go because we are going to the State Fair!! Yay
Saturday: Still thinking of options for the Bridal Shower dinner, any suggestions would be ideal!!

And that is what I have going on this week for food! Apparently I am going to start my dinner menu schedule on Sundays since I do most of my grocery shopping towards the end of the week!

There is a lot on my agenda for the rest of this month and most of next month, so I am going to be pretty busy! Well back to the laundry and the cleaning! Hope you all have a wonderful and restful Sunday!!

Eric and I decided to start a blog to keep our friends and family updated on our busy life. We just thought that it would be a cute and fun idea! We just finished watching the Ga Tech game with Brody as you can see he is a devote fan, and now we are getting ready to celebrate my Dad's birthday!
